Terms of Use

By using US Oil Gauge you agree to these terms.

Information only

The site provides historical and recent crude oil price data for general information. It is not investment, trading, financial or legal advice, and should not be relied on as the sole basis for any decision. Prices are spot assessments published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration with a delay of up to about a week; they are not intraday market quotes.

Accuracy

We copy and calculate data carefully, as described in the methodology, but the site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Source agencies may revise their data, and the site may be temporarily out of date or unavailable. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or its data.

Use of data

The underlying price and inflation data is published by U.S. government agencies and is in the public domain. You may reuse the figures and CSV downloads from this site; please credit the EIA (and the Bureau of Labor Statistics for inflation-adjusted figures) as the original source. The site's text, design and code remain the property of US Oil Gauge.
